SOME CHRISTMAS CHEER

In an effort to put some cheer into our lives, all four of us went o Darling Harbour last night to look at the famous Christmas tree that was lit the other night. We wanted to be there for the lighting but Edge had work. It may look big in the picture pero wala siyang binatbat sa Christmas tree sa Araneta Coliseum! Para lang siyang Christmas tree sa Robinson's Galleria! Pero puede na. It looked nice when it got dark and the lights were turned on.



We also found out that parking at Darling Harbour is at a fixed rate at night, which was a relief, because then we weren't constantly looking at our watch, worrying about how much our parking bill would add up to. We walked around the harbour, took pictures, breathed in the fresh air. It was a cool night, in fact it rained on our way home.

Last night, Luis was lying in bed with me and Edge. I was putting him to sleep, singing him "Everything's Alright" from Jesus Christ Superstar. He already had sleepy eyes, when all of a sudden, he exclaimed, "But mama! I might get burned!" Surprised, I asked, "Why?" He answered in all seriousness, "I might be burned if you put fire in my feet here (pointing to his right foot) and here (pointing to his left foot) and even if you put it in my head!"

Edge and I laughed out so loud that of course, Wigi's sleepiness disappeared and I had to start all over again, and this time, with a new song. I'll never be able to use that song to put him to sleep again!
