STUFF

Yesterday was a very busy day for me and the kids. Diego had his Christmas concert at 1 pm, under the sweltering heat! The concert was cute, Christmas songs given an Aussie twist. It was short and fun, but since Diego's school is a Catholic school, it was sorely lacking in showing that Christ is the reason for the season. Anyway, here are some pictures from the concert.

Then Diego had a birthday party at McDonald's at 4 pm. It's a good thing, his best friend, Willbur, was going too. I asked his mother if Diego could just ride with them. Thankfully, she said yes.

Then I had to pick up Luis at 5 pm, then prepare for the picnic at his school that evening. Diego came home at 6 pm, then we left for Luis' picnic at 6:30 pm. Some of Luis' classmates were "graduating", meaning they will be going to the "big school" next year for Kindergarten. Edge came at 7:30 pm, from work.

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS!

After confirming that I got the caseworker position, I got a call the other day from St. George Bank. I had applied for the position of Customer Service Officer about a month ago. I think they were calling to set an interview, but I told them that I already had a job. Nanghihinayang din ako, but the caseworker job is my preferred choice.

Then, Edge is nominated for Employee of the Year or something like that. The results will be announced on Monday, during their staff party. Imagine, and that is at a job that he doesn't really enjoy! Paano pa kaya kung type niya iyung trabaho? I hope he wins! He really deserves it, and it would be a great way for him to end his hospitality career!

I DREAMED A DREAM

There was one night when I had a very vivid dream of what my house is going to look like. It was a big house, two stories, looked new. It was white, with a roof of a darker color (possibly blue). It had purple flowers in front, and there was a trellis, with purple flowers sprawling over it. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Somehow, I knew it was "La Vista". But it did not look like La Vista in Loyola Heights. Could it be "Bella Vista Waters", a very pricey area here in Sydney????? Hmmmmmm........... Talagang libre mangarap......
