DONE

OK, this might sound boring to you guys. A blow-by-blow account of my application. Exciting. Riveting stuff. But this is my blog so bear with me.

I finally mailed the application. The deadline is still on the 23rd, but I just couldn't stand the stress anymore. I wanted it out of my hands and into God's, destiny's, fate's, or whoever else's hands you want to put them in.

You know how superstitious I get when I get stressed! I actually kissed the envelope before dropping it into the mailbox!

Kakahiya pa sa post office. I was expecting that it would only cost 50 cents. But maybe because I used a big yellow envelope, the lady said it would cost $1.45. My friends in college know that on any given day, I would only have 5 pesos in my wallet (P3 for a jeepney ride to and from school, then a little extra for chicheria, I'd go home for lunch kasi) This time, I had only $1.40 in my wallet! Luckily, the lady was very kind and said that would do. Thank you to the post office lady!!! I hope you have good karma because of that!

Edge had an interview today at a Catholic school. Not the one we really, really want to get into, but it's a job prospect nevertheless. He said he felt it went well. We'll see what happens...
