ABANGAN....

There's been so much going on in our lives right now, so many people coming into town, some people leaving, some people flitting in and out so it has been a constant flow of family reunions this past week. I've got so many pictures and stories to share, but I don't want to rush in the telling. I am on training in the city this whole week, which means I get home at around 6 pm dead tired. For those of you who want to see pictures of the reunions, you can view them on my multiply account. If you don't have access to my account, you can write me and I will invite you. I hope to write a full-length entry and have some pictures as well this Saturday. If you don't know my e-mail address, or you don't know someone who knows my e-mail address, then this entry probably isn't addressed to you!

hi,

i only recently discovered your blog and i love reading it. your posts vividly capture the trials and tribulations that most filipinos go through during their first few years as migrants in oz. as someone who has been here a longer time, let me assure you that it can only get better.

also masasabi ko na marami din sa mga "puti" ang nasa panig ng katarungan. hanapin mo sa web ang redfern speech ni paul keating at palagay ko maiintindihan mo ito.

tungkol naman kay tony abbott - i understand that you agree with him on that particular issue. but i have read your posts on aboriginal rights, discrimination against migrants at ang iyong involvement sa pakikibaka para sa hustisya sa pilipinas - at sa palagay ko lang you probably won't see eye-to-eye with abbott on many other issues. i urge you to further study the record of abbott and his soul-mate howard on indigenous rights, asian migration, the tampa refugee fiasco, worker rights and their relationship to dub-yah.

hope u don't mind this post - keep on blogging!

Dear Anonymous,

Wow, thank you for your comment! I'm thrilled! About Tony Abbott -- ah ganoon ba? I don't really like John Howard, I guess I should find out more about him. Pero nga, just on those issues, and the way he handled himself, bilib ako sa kanya.

P.S. Sana magpakilala ang mga anonymous -- medyo allergic na ako sa mga anonymous kasi e! Thanks!
