EXTREMELY GOOD NEWS!

Oh my goodness.

Edge got a call today from the school that interviewed him. THEY OFFERED HIM A JOB!!!

This is only a temporary position, but it is full-time until the end of December, with the possibility of being offered a job for next school year. They want him to observe classes for the last two weeks of this term, and then start at the beginning of Term 3, which is on July 17. Yippeeeeee!!!

But as with all other things in our life, there is just one tiny complication. Edge is actually waiting to hear from another school. And this is the one he REALLY wants to get into. But this school hasn't gone as far as conducting interviews yet. Applications closed just last Friday so they should just be coming up with a shortlist right now. The school that offered him a job asked him to give them his answer as soon as possible. Anyway, accepting this job doesn't mean that he will forever be unable to work at the other school. And like one person whom I asked advice from said, it would be crazy to turn down this job on the basis of the possibility of getting offered a position at the other school.

Yipppeeeeee!!!!

As far as the kids are concerned, this just means that they will be able to buy their Lightning McQueen toys as promised to them. We told them to pray that their Dada get a job and then we can buy those blated $8 cars that they want so much. Well, I guess when kids pray, the angels have no choice but to listen!

Edge says it hasn't hit him yet and he's still in a bit of a shock so he has no reaction yet. I am ecstatic! (Can't you tell? =) )
